Visual Arts Supplies (Online)
- Opus Online Supply: Opus Art and Framing There are a number of Opus Stores in the Greater Vancouver area, including their North Vancouver store and the huge Granville Island original store (across from Emily Carr) You can get any professional art supplies that you need here, including printing foam for making kids pulled prints. Opus Online Store
- Dharma Trading company. For all those tie dye supplies and clothing "blanks". This is the cheapest place to get clothing blanks of good quality, even though they have to be shipped from the States. (NOTE: If ordered early enough, I can—Kathleen—can them picked up in Point Roberts, thereby saving a lot of shipping costs.) A local place to get any kind of fabric art supply is Maiwa, which will have powdered dyes, squizze bottles, etc.. Because dyes are very heavy, it probably best to buy them in town.
- Maiwa Handprints OnLine Store: Maiwa Online
Maiwa has everything for fabric dying, including silk paints for the Wee Ones Andy Warhol Project.
- Dick Blick Art Supplies. A really big on line art store in the States. Has excellent prices and I mention it because they have supplies for group projects — everything you need classroom kits for a good price. Again, order early and have your package sent to Point Roberts (contact Kathleen for info). Dick Blick Art Materials
